The $5,000 Flip™
Toni & Frank's home was in need of a cosmetic facelift. She found Adorn
Ltd.on the internet and called us for a consultation. It just so happened
that their budget was a perfect fit for our new $5,000 Flip™
Program. After a consultation and an agreement on the services to performed,
we began working on Toni's first priority - their bathroom. She had
already purchased the wallpaper for her bathroom prior to our arrival.
(note: wallpaper removal and/or installation is not a standard service in
the Flip). As part of this program, the rest of the decision making is left
up to Adorn Ltd. |

Toni's
Testimonial
No Way!
I've seen your before and after photos
on your web site and I just couldn't believe
they were the same rooms.
Now I'm seeing the before and after
in my own home! I love it!

Toni is expressing, "No way!" |
Let's start with the bathroom - Toni's first request. |
Bathroom - Before "Cute & Country" |
Bathroom - After "Updated and classy" |
Bathroom - Before
The Sink & Mirror are a little dated. |
Bathroom - After - Updated light sconces in brushed
nickel, new medicine cabinet/mirror & towel ring. |
During - The ugly duckling of remodeling... |
...turned into a beautiful space. |
Before - The linen cabinets were standard. |
After - Two tone paint on the cabinet doors
and new hardware add style. |
After - The wood cabinet in the first photo (above)
was given a facelift and new hardware. |
After - Brushed Nickel towel bars, robe/towel hooks and
decorative art complete the look. |
| |

Behind the Scenes
Our assistant Doug (left)
and my husband Mark
(the one making the funny face), who is
our Home Improvement Specialist,
helped make my design plan
come to life for Toni & Frank's bathroom.
Thanks guys,
Vickie

Foyer / Dinette |
Toni's dinette crowded the small entry/dinette area. |
So, we shopped for a new counter height dinette
set and what a difference the new decor makes!
(excuse the light bulb - waiting the new ceiling fan) |
Custom Window Treatments |
I re-used some of the fabric from her custom window treatments to
re-upholster her new stools. |
Toni liked palm trees,
so I gave her a
Cottage in the Caribbean theme!I shopped for art to match the theme
and found tropical print fabric to make
window valances.
Kitchen |
The bright white walls are somewhat cold. |
We made her kitchen warm and toasty
with our famous feather duster faux technique! |
White aluminum mini blinds, white cabinets, white cabinet knobs, and green
window trim..... |
We painted the cabinets and window trim and
topped everything off with new wood shades and a palm tree print valance and
even replaced the hardware to antique bronze knobs. |
Living Room |
Her loveseat was blocking the walk-thru to the bedrooms and bath. The walls
were patched from previous repairs but not primed or painted. |
I re-arranged her furniture but that's only a fraction of the changes we
made. Look what the warm color on the wall, fresh paint on the trim and new
window treatments have done for her home! |
Mark is reading up on the wallpaper installation.
I'm taking photos to get ready for the design
and color changes that will take place. |
We painted the walls with one of our most popular warm golden tans. Fresh
trim paint, new pillows and we're good to go. (Toni will be purchasing new
furniture but we decorated for the new color scheme.) |
The little lost fireplace.
It just blended in with the walls. |
How about a little, well maybe a lot of accent color to make it pop! Take a
closer look below at the details that I was able to bring out by painting
accent colors on the fireplace with a touch of faux painting as well. |
Toni said that her guests hadn't noticed
the wood medallions before and
asked if I had added them. "No", she said,
"They were always there."
They just blended in
because everything was white.
Not anymore.
Are you ready for our $5,000 Flip?
